Did you mean traditional seeds? These hybrid seeds are not usually passed down from generation to generation. Check heirlooms.com, or simply the continuation of tomatoes, vegetables and various types of displays. Tomatoes are excellent for growing in pots, if they are a lot of sunshine. They are water hogs, but so be sure, often water. I've also always with them, or Miracle Gro for tomatoes or eggplant, peppers (all in the family Solanaceae). Each of these grow well in pots, grasses. Almost everything is in pots, as long as the pots are large enough to be grown.
